I love the Shakespeare quote. This reminds me of a Russian saying about seeing with the heart, and not the eyes.
I love this quote! It reminds me of a poem I once wrote.
WHY DOES THE
HEART
LISTEN TO
THE BRAIN?
WHY DOES
THE WORLD
EXIST
BY ORDER AND REASON?
WHERE ARE THE
FAIRIES
AND BLESSED
GODS
OF WILLIAM?
WILLIAM’S WORLD
WAS
AGAINST
THE MADNESS
OF
THE BRAIN
AND
FOR
THE WHOLENESS
OF
THE
HEART.

I feel that you…. and your followers… would understand this other poem of mine. I’m sharing this poem, as well, because the poem by Pablo Neruda reminded me of it… of the other-wordly, mystical, unexplainable feelings one has when one is truly in love. Not that being “truly in love “is any quarantee that “love will last”. I thank you for giving me a venue to to share these two poems.
I had a dream
in which we
were one –
both male and female.
You cried and I
comforted you –
I was a man.
You were a woman.
Then the reverse.
We were both –
male and female.
I loved you, I suppose,
because you had qualities of both.
It is from the heart, is it not?
I do like this picture and quote. It makes you feel like Spring is coming! Love is in the air!

How nice if people get to use their minds when they choose their ‘loves’.
No offence to the ‘nice’ guys out there but I wish more of the other guys would heed your words.
Antoine de St-Exupéry wrote a quite similar sentennce in his famous “Le Petit Prince”:”L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux, on ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur…”

I think everybody who has read Le Petit Prince has loved it/him…
I live at 5′-drive from the small aerodrome Lasbordes-Montaudran where Tonio aka genius St-Exupéry, a true man of the Renaissance, used to take off and to land before his plane disappeared in the Mediterranean sea shot by the Nazis in 1944… His family was from Toulouse and he wrote lots of interesting novels.

So true..and yet I find that when a relationship gets to the point where you start seeing those things that were “endearing” as “annoying” then there’s trouble coming..was it love? or was it lust? is it just a lack of trust? Love was blind, now you see…oh oh. LOL

I had not come across that quote from Shakespeare before. Thanks for sharing that.
Shakespeare is the most profound writer, ever. I bought a tablet just to be able to read his works wherever I go and not have to drag around huge volumes.
